Michael e Bill, da tutti conosciuti come le menti che hanno dato vita al famosissimo collettivo degli Snarky Puppy, con i quali hanno vinto anche alcuni Grammy, sono partner musicali e grandi amici da oltre 15 anni.
Michael League (Snarky Puppy, Bokanté, GroundUP Music) e Bill Laurance (Solo artist, Snarky Puppy, Flint Music) sono uniti da un legame fortissimo. Per la prima volta, presenteranno brani dai loro reciproci repertori attraverso un’intima formazione in duo. Con al centro il pianoforte e il contrabbasso ma arricchita di inaspettate incursioni di altri strumenti, questa performance offre la rara opportunità di vedere due dei più importanti geni musicali contemporanei, profondamente legati, esplorare come non hanno mai fatto prima.
Michael and Bill, known as the minds of the famous Snarky Puppy collective, with which they also won two Grammys, have been musical partners and great friends for over 15 years.
Michael League (Snarky Puppy, Bokanté, GroundUp Music) and Bill Laurance (Solo artist, Snarky Puppy, Flint Music) share a very strong friendship. For the first time, they will present live songs from their repertoires through an intimate duo. With the piano and the double bass at the center but enriched with unexpected incursions by other instruments, this performance offers the rare opportunity to see two of the most important contemporary musical geniuses, deeply connected, to explore how they have never done before.
