Uno dei talenti emergenti più giovani, ma allo stesso tempo più ricercati, dell’attuale scena underground, Alexia Glensy, ha dimostrato più e più volte che l’età non è che un numero. Non definito da un genere, il suono di Alexia è un viaggio sfaccettato di profondità ed emozione, una conversazione tra se stessa e il suo pubblico.
Nata a Londra, con radici in Brasile, la fusione di culture è stata radicata in lei fin dalla giovane età, prendendo influenza sia dalla sua eredità sudamericana che da quella europea. Nonostante abbia iniziato la sua carriera a San Paolo, Alexia desiderava di più. Si è rapidamente trasferita di nuovo a Londra, tuffandosi a capofitto per dedicarsi alla musica a tempo pieno.

Nel 2020, Alexia si è trasferita ad Amsterdam, dove è stata presa sotto l’ala protettrice degli acclamati equipaggi VBX e Shelter, permettendole di stabilirsi e trovare la sua terra. Nel frattempo, il suo progetto di passione, LeMaia, un’etichetta discografica ed eventi, ha preso vita, aiutandola ad aprire la sua strada e a costruire la sua carriera fino a quella che è oggi.

Dal Brasile alla Lituania, dall’Uruguay alla Francia, dalla Svizzera alla Spagna, la musica di Alexia l’ha già portata in molti angoli del mondo, suonando in alcuni dei luoghi e festival più credibili e rispettati come Fabric London, Wildeburg Festival, Hoppetosse, Opium Club, DC-10, l’Awakenings Festival stimato in tutto il mondo e, naturalmente, la sua residenza allo Shelter, Amsterdam.

Un’artista con una fame implacabile di immergersi nell’esperienza di tutto ciò, assorbendo, imparando e crescendo, i limiti di Alexia non sono in vista. Siamo entusiasti di vedere cosa riserva il futuro. Il meglio deve ancora venire.

One of the youngest, yet most highly sought-after, rising talents of the current underground scene, Alexia Glensy, has proven time and time again that age is but a number. Not defined by a genre, Alexia’s sound is a multi-faceted journey of depth and emotion, a conversation between her audience and herself.

Born in London, with her roots in Brazil, the blending of cultures was ingrained in her from a young age, taking influence from both her South American and European heritages. Despite starting her career in Sao Paulo, Alexia craved more. She quickly relocated back to London, diving head-first to pursue music full-time.
In 2020, Alexia moved to Amsterdam, where she was taken under the wing of the highly acclaimed VBX and Shelter crews, allowing her to settle in and find her ground. In the meantime, her passion project, LeMaia, an events, clothing and record label, came to life, helping her pave her own way and build her career to what it is today.

From Brazil to Lithuania, Uruguay to France, Switzerland to Spain, Alexia’s music has already taken her many corners of the world, playing at some of the most credible and highly respected venues and festivals like Fabric London, Wildeburg Festival, Hoppetosse, Opium Club, DC-10, the globally esteemed Awakenings Festival, and of course, her residency in Shelter, Amsterdam.

An artist with a relentless hunger to immerse herself in the experience of it all, absorbing, learning and growing, Alexia’s bounds aren’t in sight. We’re excited to see what the future holds. The best is yet to come.
