Beat on Rotten Woods was formed in Trieste in 2013.
Mace, singer and beatboxer, and guitarist Rob met during a collaboration with a local rapper.
After that one-time appearance, they immediately start to create something that goes beyond the usual concept of rock band. With an electric guitar and a loop-station, in a short time they compose a handful of songs that will allow them to perform in numerous clubs and festivals in the area, leading them to play as opening act for BobLog III and for the 26th edition of the MittelFest.

In 2016 they release their first EP ”STAY ROTTEN”, followed by the video clip ”SHINING PEOPLE”.

In 2017 they decide to strengthen their BeatboxBluesIndustrialGrunge music style, enlisting
among their ranks Tilen and Nevio, respectively guitar and bass, with whom they publish
the video-clip ”SPACES” at the beginning of 2018, placing the song among the finalists of 2018 Cortinametraggio Short Film Festival. In September of the same year they are back
in the the studio for their first LP “Beat on Rotten Woods”, that has been released on
December 1st, 2019 with no label, in pure DIY spirit.
