SPRAWL, il nuovo progetto nato dalla collaborazione tra Ambra Bass Culture, Stay on the Scene Music® e FESTAGRANDA si apre col botto: headliner della serata sarà Strahinja Arbutina, direttamente da Zagabria.
Protagonista nel recente exploit del collettivo croato low income $quad, si è affermato come motore della crescita dell’intera scena locale, accumulando uscite su etichette come Always Human Tapes, BANK Records NYC e Natural Sciences, passando per la Bliq di Londra e la eclettica Clan Destine Records. La sua musica è un magma di noise, techno e industrial in cui samples Memphis rap alimentano basi hardcore e acid.
L’apertura della serata sarà affidata ai ragazzi CAUTION SOUND SYSTEM, prima che FESTAGRANDA prenda il controllo della tarda notte con il ritorno delle sue acclamate boyband: RIVELUTTI daranno seguito al loro apprezzato debutto di quest’estate, esplorando suoni d’ispirazione UK bass, mentre i FRĪÜLÅN MÛRDĘR BØ¥S si riuniranno per una chiusura hard techno che non promette prigionieri.

SPRAWL è dispersione urbana, è spazio che divide e allunga la città, rendendola un organismo più ampio e meno coerente.
SPRAWL è il tempo virtuale della dispersione urbana, in cui le lontananze tra i corpi sono supplite e poi sostituite dal presente eterno della nuova macchina.
SPRAWL sono le melodie di questa nuova configurazione caotica eppure silenziosa, in cui la dolce incandescenza della lampada lascia spazio alla luce siderale eppure iper-stimolante dello schermo blu. In una contemporaneità senza un viso, fa coesistere fisionomie differenti e dissonanti. Ciò che sentirete saranno i molti suoni di questi incontri; non un genere, ma un continuum che unisce ritmiche nate da lontananze, delocalizzazioni e nuove strategie di comunione.

SPRAWL, the brand-new collective effort from Ambra Bass Culture, Stay on the Scene and FESTAGRANDA kicks off with a banger: headlining the event will be Zagreb-based producer Strahinja Arbutina.
An essential component in the steady ascension of Croatian collective low income $quad over the last years, he has established himself as a prime mover for the whole local scene, stacking up releases on labels small and big, from Always Human Tapes to BANK Records NYC and Natural Sciences, via London’s Bliq and the multi-faceted Clan Destine Records. His music is a mixture of noise, techno and industrial where Memphis rap samples can sit on top of pounding hardcore and breakneck speed techno.
The evening evening-opener comes from CAUTION SOUND SYSTEM, while FESTAGRANDA will take on the late night with the return of its most beloved boybands: RIVELUTTI will follow up to their strong debut exploring bass-heavy depths while FRĪÜLÅN MÛRDĘR BØ¥S will make an anticipated comeback with an ADHD-proof set of scrambled techno.

SPRAWL is urban dispersion, it’s the space that divides and extends the city, shaping a wider yet less coherent organism. SPRAWL is the virtual time of urban dispersion, in which the distances between bodies are replaced by the eternal presence of the new machine.
SPRAWL are the melodies of this new chaotic yet silent configuration, in which the lamp’s gentle incandescence leaves room for the sidereal yet hyper-stimulating blue light of the screen. In a faceless contemporaneity, SPRAWL lets different and dissonating physiognomies coexist. What you are going to hear are the sounds of these encounters; not a defined genre, but a continuum that connects rhythms born from distances, delocalizations and new communion strategies.
